So i know i'm super bad about updating these things.... so my bad...
a brief update, The semester has begun, so my Anatomy & Physiology II, and Infection & Immunity are keeping me uber busy. Not to mention my oh so adorable little man Noah!!!
He's a Joy to be around & even though he consumes the majority of my time, he make my day as glorious & lovely as it could ever possibly be :D My Love, My Heart! He's my man!

I'm also the Campus Representative @ UAH for the Disney College Program...
I'm running the show all by myself on campus... So i've been busy creating a marketing plan for this semester... always exciting & again... time consuming.
I'm making a Scrapbook of my College Program experience to show at the tables i'm hosting on campus, i'm having fun working on that too :D

There is a light at the end of this semester's tunnel, I'm taking some of my family to Walt Disney World in May!!!!! It will be Noah's First Trip, which is totally more for me then it will be for him, but Ethan & Haydn will have the time of their lives i'm sure!!! I even think my big brother Joshua will be coming with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the Cherry on top!!! It will be Fabulous! &
My Dad's paying for everyone else Lol... i think he know's that already ;) So Hooray Disney World! Here we Come!!!

I've also made my first appearence at the Young Single Adult's Family Home Evening, & also Institute :) I Had a date with me too!!!!!

I get a giggle every single time, It never gets old :)

As for My week, I'll be studying for my Chemistry Exam that's on Wednesday, which is always an enjoyable experience. My Visiting Teaching companion & I are going to try & meet up with our sisters before the week is up. My Dad flew back from Greenland on Friday Night & He'll be here with us until Wednesday afternoon :( It's a short trip, but it's better then nothing. His next visit back home will be on December 17th. I believe he wanted to come later in Dec., so we wouldn't do anything embarrassing to him in celebration of his 50th Birthday :P Lol... Boy, is he seriously mistaken or what! He's only allowing us more time to make mischievous plans :D Daddy will stay with us for just about a month! It will be nice... & I know my Mom will be really happy about that!

I've been slacking on running, I didn't make time last week, & I don't feel quite motivated today, but I still may go hit some of the trails behind my house today with our Bloodhound Scout. I suppose we will see in time.

Here's Noah making one of the Goofiest grins, & he does it every time he see's a camera. When there's one in his sight, he'll look up, Freeze... and say, "CHEEZZZZEEEE!"

*Laughs* And this is my reaction almost Every single time Lol!!!

Oh & Let me just say how much I L-O-V-E this weather we're having!!!!!I love wearing my warm fuzzy coats & jackets! I can hardly wait to bust out my scarf, beanie & gloves!

Yes!!! Whew!!! I know I'm going to hurt tomorrow :D But alteast it's an Accomplished Pain.
I made it through the 5th Annual Liz Hurley Ribbon Run... My First 5K Race!
Lol I don't know how much of it I thought of as a Race, but hey I did it!
I made it across the finish line at 44.20
Not anything to brag about, but fingers crossed by this time next year I'll be running a Half-Marathon :)

And on December 20th there's a Rudolph Run, it's also a 5K race. I plan on registering for it as well, so if there's anyone who'd like to join me let me know!
I'm trying to make this a habit people! Lol.

Well i'm a little sticky, so I'm of to bathe now...

Liz Hurley 5th Annual Ribbon Run

See I told ya I would make an effort to update more... this is number 2 in less then a week... Maybe i'll make it a habit :P

Anyhow as the title states, the 5th Annual Liz Hurley Ribbon Run is coming up Saturday, October 18th... It's a 5K... & i've already registered for it...
Now you may be wondering if i'm running the entire thing... Lol yeah right, I'm not going to kill myself ;) but i Do have to start somewhere...

I Know It's Been FOREVER!!!

Ok Ok... Look, My apologies on my Procrastination... I'm really horrible at updating my blog... I will try and make time...

So For a quick recap of what I've been up to since my last post, I worked at Belk in Intimate Apparel over the Summer... Oh the Joys of Bras & Panties :P
I took a trip to New Orleans, LA with one of my Besties! Lauren!!! It was fun, Noah & I rode the street car to the French Quarter & checked out some toy shops in Jackson Square. Lots of Fun! That is right up til my Fall Semester started at UAH. I'm currently enrolled in Human Anatomy & Physiology=Lame, Psychological Statistics=Lamer, & Chemistry= Lamest!
Noah Had his FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!! It was Lots of Fun!!! & It was so much more Fun for me than it was for him ;) I haven't had much luck on my fitness goals... lol that's probably why I usually don't set any. I have however decided to get back into running.... It has been a long time, but i feel I'm at a place where if i set goals I can reach them... So I'll use this as my offical announcement, that I'm setting a Goal for October 2009 to Run the Rocket City Half Marathon!
It will be my first serious Distance Running ever! So in Preperation for that I'm Going run in the Cotton Row Run in May 2009... Lol *Fingers Crossed* Hopefully I will be able to make it through the winter!!!!! If anyone out there is SERIOUSLY interested in attempting & hopefully meeting this goal with me, please let me know, I'd Love a Running buddy to help me get up on my off days!
Now to the Cuteness in my Life!!!
Noah is Such a Ham!!! He just chatters away like he knows it all... Everytime he see's a telephone he says "Hehwow, Hie, Hehwow"
I'm also going to enter him into the GAP baby Casting Call!!! I'll Keep you posted if anything comes from it! If we're lucky and he moves on in the Casting Process He'll Need all the support & votes He can Get! & we'll be coming after Ya'll :P

Daddy is in Greenland... Doing His Work on a Radar system up there... Updating the Computer Systems & whatever else needs to be done... It's All Very Hush Hush You Know ;)

I do need to get my time management skills worked on, as well as a pinch of self discipline...
as you can see by the hour i am posting this entry, I stay up far to late & because of that I sleep through far to many of my classes... I must admit i'm doing pretty Lame in school this semester... It's halfway through & I need to whip my Boootay into shape :)

I just had a random thought.... Halloween is coming up, I know lots of you out there have little ones of your own, i thought it might be fun to get a group of chitlens together & go Trick-or-Treating around the Historic District/Twickenham Area. Get back at me & Let me know if that's something that you may be intrested in...

I hope to get some new photos up & possibly some videos, if i can get them on my computer...

Before I begin I just want to apologize for taking so long to update my blog...
& for a quick recap since my last entry, I got the Job. I'm working partime, only 4 hour shifts so I can continue to nurse Noah. So far so Good. No Troubles... as for everything else : )

I believe that one of the greatest experiences in my life since Noah joined me in this world, would have to be the opporunity that I have to view my friends & family, who are parents, especially new parents, in a different light. I absolutely love witnessing our growth & observing how parenthood gives us such a unique joy & light. I know it's only going to get better for us all...
I knew that I would recieve joy as a parent, but i never imagine that i would have the ability to step outside of my bubble & recieve joy from viewing my friends parenting. I have a new respect for all parents everywhere and all the sacrifice & love they give to their children & not just their children, but the example they set to others as righteous, loving & nurturing parents.

I know that I have been truly blessed to be able to witness this in each of you & I thank you for all that you share! & to my friends who have yet to cross over the threshold & join us all in the land of parenthood; it's the most Difficult, Time Consuming Obligation....
And it's ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!
There is No amount of Worldly Wealth that can take away the Love & Joy you'll recieve one day as parents!

I'm going to do my best at updating my blog atleast once a week...
I also have a couple of photos i'm going to post of Noah & his half brother Jaylon...
Jaylong is about a month younger then Noah... Yes I know... It's a Longggg story...
but it's a pretty common story: Girl & Boy are dating, Girl get preggers, boy finds out, boy leaves girl, but in my version boy leaves girl for another & gets her preggers soon after...
some of you already know it, some of you don't... but if you really want to know details I'm an open book, just ask & i will share.
Jaylon's Mommy's name is Crystal & she's a sweetheart! We Get along Fabulously!
She really is a lovely person... If i can find one with her and the boys i'll post it as well...

This is Just a Quick Announcement to let all of You know, I'm Finally finished with my Finals!!!
And now I've got a few months to relax... Love on Noah.... & Love on Noah some more...
Ironically enough during my last exam, I got a phone call from Belks asking to come in for an Interview :P just as I was ready to kick back... aah... I'm hoping to work at the MAC counter... because If you know me You know how much i Love me some MAC! & I just love playing with makeup anyway! I don't know which department they're looking to hire in though... I'm just keeping my fingers crosses... plus I'm only working so I can have a few extra bucks... so I'm not interested in more then 20 hours a week...

As for an update on Noah, He's A Scooting Everywhere! & Rolling, & Pulling himself Every which Way! It's Really Funny to Watch! lol... or maybe i just think so because he's mine : P

I'll try and put up a video clip later this week of him :)

Momma Got Her Hair Did!

What better way for this single Mom to start dipping her toes in the dating pool.
I mean... I know I'm just so unbelievably Hot! & Men totally just throw themselves at my feet; I ask them them to "please stop", but since they insist, I only thought it was polite to Please their eye a little more ;)

Pfffft!!!! Yeah right... but Seriously

I did get my Hair Did!!!! :D

I gotta be a funky Momma! maybe I should have put hot pink highlights in my hair... Hmm... Not So Much!

But I'm diggin' the highlights, they do make me feel hip, & not quite as shriveled & rusty as I've felt since Noah's arrival in this world.

As for an update of my life this past week, Yes Ladies & Gentlemen I did go to Institute this past Thursday. My first official step back into the world of Young Single Adults. It's scarier then it sounds, Trust Me! : P

Saturday Noah & I made the Journey to Springville, AL to see one of my best friends from high school, who was also my first college roomie Get Hitched!!!
The Wedding began at 4 o'clock in the afternoon & the Reception immediately after & lasted until late in the evening, I left around 8:20 pm, & As surprising as this may sound the party didn't stop this time when i left... weird I know ;) Lol, but the guests really started boozing it up & started getting rowdy after the sun went down. So I decided it was time to go :OP Noah & I were Very Lucky that Springville happened to only be about 25 minutes from Homewood, AL. That's where my B.F.F Lauren aka my Baby's Daddy Lives :D
So we spent Saturday evening & Sunday with Lauren and her Family. It was a short & sweet visit! I wish I could have stayed another night, but I didn't bring enough Darn Diapers for Noah, & I really didn't have the fund$ to go to the store & buy a whole new pack of em'!
So Sunday Evening Noah & I said our goodbyes, and made our way back to the "Rocket City."
Naturally I had to call Momma & let her know I was on the interstate making my way back home. Just as I called her, I got a call from a friend I haven't had the opportunity to talk on the phone with in quite some time. I didn't know I had a call until after I had finished the conversation with my Mother. I then received a voicemail, only to hear that my friend Phirun had called.
Phirun is a Buddy of mine, that I've known for awhile... Oddly enough, I've never met him in person...
I can't remember exactly when I started talking to him, I think it was 1999 or 2000? Maybe even 98'? I'm really not sure... i just know it was one of my earlier years in high school... but I had just discovered yahoo messenger & I found an LDS chat room, & chatted up the gospel with a bunch of different LDS folks from around the country. It was just as I really started coming back to church by myself & It always excited me to go there & read as other members shared their testimonies & talked about the gospel. But any who, I met Mr.Phirun There... and We chatted of course, talked about my re-discovery of the gospel, & his conversion story...
I suppose Years go by and he & I have still managed to keep in touch... even throughout & after my many, many relapses into the "world."
We always kind of pick up where our last conversation left off, even if it was 3 or 4 months prior...
He's good Peoples & definitely a Good friend to have...
and in case you're wondering This all filters in to the final story of this blog entry... just be patient as my brain rambles on :P
OK... So some of You know, as I've shared with you, & if you couldn't have already guessed from my earlier comments about returning to the world of YSA, I've recently been getting a big kick in my rear by the spirit telling me to get myself back out there in the playing field...
The Time for Dating has begun... & Needless to say I've been a little weary about it... Because throughout my many talks with Jesus, while I was pregnant, he told me the only man I need to be concerned with was the one that was in my belly :P LOL! JK!
but as I "took out the garbage" & "cleaned house" in the deep abyss that is my soul... the very last thought in my mind were those concerning the opposite sex. Now that I'm in YSA again, I've just kinda been smacked in the face with a stupid stick... I didn't know how, who, why, where or what I needed to be doing... So Of course I turn to my buddy Phirun for advice...
He's been in YSA for a long, long, long time now :P Lol... just picking on him, but I'd definitely call him a Professional ;)
He is an honest guy, so I went to him for male advice, Do's & Don'ts, and any other tidbits of advice he had for me, that would be helpful.
So here's my Thank You to you Phirun... Not only for the Good Advice, but for the Good Conversation & enlightenment that Made my 1 1/2 hour trip back to Huntsville seem like 15 minutes.

I think those are my Big Findings & Adventurous tales from this weekend... I know It's just A bundle of fun for you all to read :P
but it is what it is, So please enjoy... Lol.

I've also been doing better on my workouts... doing some yoga & belly dance fusion stuff at home : )

Easter 2008 & other Radom Events :)

Hello Everyone! & Happy Late Easter! & Happy Late St. Patty's Day! I know I'm terrible about making the time to post blogs... But I got my digital camera working again so i can upload my photos and share them in my blog... it was having issues so i had to work it out :D
I'm going to be playing catch-up with this blog... so please enjoy ;)
So as you all know This was Noah's First Easter! & we spent it in Uriah, Alabama. & yes it is in the Deep South, Red Hills of Alabama... See i bet you didn't even know Alabama had red hills ;) It's always interesting going to visit, because I happen to be related to everyone in that area, and have been for the past 150 years or so :P lol... I was able to attend sacrament meeting, which is a family reunion in itself Lol! It's a small branch building about 10 or 15 minutes away from my Grandparents house. All of the families except for about 2 or 3 of them are my Relatives... Talk about Everybody knows Every bodies Business... & they literally are a "Ward/Branch Family" ;) and Needless to say they don't have to many visitors come through... Unless You call Missionaries Visitors. Visiting definitely helps humble oneself... & also helps you realise what a blessing it is to have the diversity we do in our Ward :) I'm going to include photos of Noah and I on Easter, in our Easter Gear! and I'm going to try and post a video that i took on my mom's flip video when I took myself, Noah, & Ethan to the park.
I've also posted some photos of my Lauren's visit, she's my best friend & as we call her Noah's Father ;) lol... We took Noah to Monaco Pictures... it was 10:30 pm on a Saturday night & he wouldn't sleep so we chose a movie that wasn't a new release, something that wouldn't scare Noah, & most importantly a movie that we didn't think many people would go see :D So we took Noah to Go see College Road Trip :D lol... We were correct, we were the only 3 people in the theatre... it was a cute movie though... and he enjoyed it lol...
as for future postings... Hopefully I'll not procrastinate quite so long to update you all... & If any of you are interested in making a donation or walking for the MS Walk, It is on Saturday, April 12th at the University Fitness Center on UAH Campus. Yes Ladies and Gentlemen...
I know I have been late updating you all, I have been Ill the past couple of weeks. I think it was the flu or something flulike. Whatever it was it Isn't Fun! But I'm getting over it so I'm feeling tons better. I really haven't been up to much just trying to make it through my classes. This past week was Great because my dad took the week off from Boston. I never realised how good my dad kept us fed... and when he's gone the duty kind of defaults to me :) It's fun preparing meals, it is good practice. There's really not to much more... I'm sure I had a really funny story to post, but with all the time since my last blog, I've forgotten what :P Oh Well!!!
I'm happy it's Sunday... How I love going to church... Hooray for the Sabbath!
and I'm going to try and do good & finish reading all my lessons before Sunday school... Until then I think I'm gonna go cuddle with Noah until he wakes up :)

I hope this Sunday is an inspiring day for all :)

I never realized how quickly Noah would grow!!! Needless to say I realized that he wasn't so tiny anymore... I'm a little late getting portraits taken of him, but I finally got them taken care of Last Thursday at JCPenney... They Did an awesome Job and really listened to my ideas & they used some of the props I brought from home :) It was a Fun Experience for Noah & Myself... He did so well in front of the Camera... Even with all of the outfit changes... Noah was quite a Trooper!

What a Week

I can hardly believe that it has already been a week since my last post. Taking care of Noah, Going to Class, Taking my Nephew Ethan to and from school, & Keeping the house up and running while my dads work takes him out of town has kept me up and on the Go Go Go! It was nice when he came back for the weekend. He definately helped lighten the load...
I definately have to say that I have taken advantage of my Father... I never really appreciatey EVERYTHING that he does to take care of our family & our home. Now that i'm getting a taste of what he has been doing for I don't know how long... makes me truly thankful to have a Father who is so giving and willing to sacrifice so much of his time and energy to take care of his family. I'm definately going to do all I can to show him how Appreciative I am for all that he does. Now don't think that my Mom doesn't do anything, She does what she can, but her MS (Multiple Sclerosis), definately keeps her down and not able to do what she used to, which makes her upset & depressed. I'm doing my best to take care of her and get her motivated to find something she can pick up as a hobby and enjoy doing.
Other then family business I've got a pretty good start on my craft room :)
I'm super excited about it !!! it's turning out really good. when i'm to the point where mom won't let me do much more, then i'll stop and take a photo of the finished project :D

Oh The Joy that Monday Brings!!! and today we have been lucky enough enjoy the Trinkling of raindrops pitter-patter all around.

Oh come on... Who am I kidding? Really.
I wonder if I am lucky enough to find a pair of those Rose colored glasses to borrow every once in awhile? I'm still trying to find my permanent pair.

The sabbath day was wonderful and peaceful as it ever was! and as the Sweetness of Sunday progresses, we all realize the many adventures we have set forth in the coming week. Luckily for me, I believe this is going to be one of those weeks with the Rosy Specs on :) Mostly do to the stamping & crafting fun that I will be hosting this Friday! It's always easier to make it through the trials of the week when you have something fun waiting for you to do at the end. Sunday is always that day I look forward to, but this week I get two-scoops of Fun!

As I am typing out this blog, I have realised that I do have my own permanent pair of Rose colored glasses! My beautiful son Noah gave them to me the moment he joined me in this crazy wonderful world. Through him I realize Life isn't easy on the straight & narrow. Heavenly Father knows that I have been every which way. Honest. I've Zig-Zag'd better then most people I have come to know. Now, through his blessings my path is Steadfast & Forward. Now I see, each day is New! and the bumpy road i had been on has long since smoothed & that straight & narrow, isn't as narrow as it looked before.

Now, I will prepare myself for my day, First thing's First! I'll put on my Rose colored classes & off I go, Headfirst in the Joyful Trials & Blessings that await me.

If any of you ever need your own pair of Rose colored glasses, just let me know! I'll help you find them. If Pink's not your color, let me know! Because true happiness has many colors & We've got to find the pair that best suits You : )

I've decided to start something new...
It's not to tough to figure out :P
I'm going to start a blog O_O It is a personal goal of mine to keep a better record of my life, for my own memories and for those of my son Noah!
I want him to have something he can go back and laugh at his Mommy and one day he'll realize "Mommy is a Real Person" ; )

As for now I'm preparing for a TAC FunShop, just a get together to learn more about stamping and techniques. I enjoy it and it's good to know that Noah and my family will always be able to look at scrapbooks I make and also know that the cards I give are made with Love!

I suppose that's all for now... I've got to sleep to make sure i'm functional at church tomorrow :)
